Kayaking and Rafting
The White Salmon River is well known for its world class white
water rafting and kayaking and is the home to the Gorge Games
kayaking event.
There are several rafting companies located

Restaurants
Hood River has the best variety of restaurants and bars in the
immediate area. There are also other great local restaurants.
A few restaurants of note are:
- Everybody’s Brewing - Goodwill Lodge is a brewery/brewpub
located in White Salmon. They serve top notch organic ales
and food with outdoor seating and a great view of Mt Hood.
The food alone is reason enough to make a trip.

that you’re staying at Matt’s house.
